The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston,
also known as the Mother Church, is the world
headquarters of the Christian faith, founded in 1875
by Mary Baker Eddy.
The Christian Science complex in Boston incorporates
a variety of buildings, including the original Mother Church
(1894), the larger extension (1906), and an impressive urban
plaza with reflecting pool designed by I.M. Pei (1960s).
